Magnolia ISD set to host town hall meetings regarding upcoming bond

Magnolia ISD announced via Facebook on March 20 that a trio of town hall meetings regarding the upcoming May bond election will be held from late March through April.

What it means

As previously reported by Community Impact, MISD will have a bond proposition on the May election ballot focused on securing funding for future campus facilities and related district purchases. Leading up to the May election, MISD will be hosting multiple community meetings with Q&As from district leaders to address community concerns.

The dates and locations of the community conversations are as follows:

• March 31: Magnolia West High School Library, 510 Melton St., Magnolia
• April 7: Magnolia High School Library, 14350 FM 1488, Magnolia
• April 16: Magnolia Event Center, 11659 FM 1488, Magnolia

All meetings will begin at 6 p.m., and at 6:45 p.m., a Spanish translation of the presentation will be available, according to the social media post.

Something to note

The election for the proposed bond is May 2, with early voting beginning April 20 and ending April 28.
