Eighty-five staff members across 16 schools and three district departments received a share of 46 grants—the most awarded by the nonprofit since its founding in 2017, according to the news release.

- Enhancing early childhood learning through sensory-motor integration
- Enhancing social skills through virtual reality
- Enhancing writing competency and engagement through interactive classroom media
- Multi-touch tech for small groups
- Sewing machines for innovative creations
- Transforming learning environments with flexible seating and sensory tiles
The TEF has awarded over $520,000 in grants to TISD employees since 2018, according to the news release. The foundation accepts donations and event sponsorships for the benefit of TISD schools and offers volunteer opportunities, according to the foundation’s website.
