Tomball ISD plans for 'mask optional' 2021-22 school year

Tomball ISD officials announced in a social media post April 14 the district is planning for a "mask optional" 2021-22 school year. While the district's mask mandate is currently still in effect, the statement notes masks will be optional in TISD for all students and staff effective at the end of the last day of school, May 27.


Therefore, masks will be optional for summer school, summer athletic camps and all school-related activities following May 27.

Previously, curbside shoppers were charged a $4.95 fee on all orders, but moving forward that fee will be waived on purchases of $35 or more. Orders worth less than $35 will have a $2.95 "small basket surcharge" attached.
