Parents of incoming kindergarten students interested in attending Tomball ISD's inaugural Two-Way Dual Language Academy this fall must attend one of three parent information sessions before applying for the program. The program integrates native English and native Spanish speakers, and accepted students will receive instruction for math, language arts, science and social studies in both English and Spanish, district officials said. Parent meetings will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. March 26, March 28 and April 1 at Rosehill Elementary, located at 17590 FM 2920, Tomball. Applications for the dual-language academy become available April 1. The program is available to incoming kindergarteners within TISD or outside the district, admitted through the district's year-round limited open enrollment program, according to the district.
