Lone Star College-Tomball, located at 30555 Hwy. 249, Tomball, is part of the Lone Star College System and celebrates its 30th
anniversary with two public events, including a free Spooktacular Community Festival on Oct. 23 and a ticketed anniversary celebration Nov. 3.
The Spooktacular Community Festival, located at the Beckendorf Conference Center at the LSC-Tomball campus, is a Halloween festival for the Tomball community to enjoy featuring games and activities for children. The event runs from 4-7 p.m. There will also be a Spooktacular Musical Concert during the festival, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the LSC-Tomball Performing Arts Center.
Additionally, LSC-Tomball's anniversary celebration event takes place at the Beckendorf Conference Center at 6:30 p.m. to honor the college's history and share the administrators' vision for the future. Tickets for individual purchase cost $40, and table sponsorships are available. Proceeds will go toward the establishment of an LSC-Tomball endowment and each dollar donated will be matched by the Department of Education through the college's Title V grant. Tickets are available
