Miya’s Munchies, which offers dishes such as pot pies and biscuits, opened its storefront at 32907 Tamina Road, Magnolia, on April 18, owner Sumiyyah Harvey said via email.
Located within The Culinary Courtyard, Harvey owns and runs the business with her son, Khaliq Harvey.
“[The] first day was such a success,” Harvey said. “Mostly friends and family from out of town that just wanted to show their love and support [came]. It was the best.”
The restaurant has also begun serving breakfast and lunch, Harvey said.
Since opening the storefront, Harvey said Miya’s Munchies has been getting rave reviews from customers.
“They love the look of the bakery, excited to have biscuits back and are genuinely happy for us,” Harvey said.
