"My family owns a lot of Tex-Mex restaurants," she said in a phone interview. "My father and uncle have owned restaurants since 1985 and my brother finally decided to open his own, too."
The menu includes Birria tacos, enchiladas, chicken and beef fajitas, tamales and margaritas.
"Our food is more authentic than Tex-Mex," Carrillo said. "Our customers are always telling us that our food tastes like someone's cooking it at home."
