Victory Pie Company, located at 32907 Tamina Road, Magnolia, closed its cafe Jan. 1, owner Sheila Blue said in a Jan. 6 phone call.

The bakery will no longer be open for breakfast or lunch, but will still be open for order pickup.

“Our bakery is actually located right behind where our storefront was,” Blue said. “So pickup will be right there at the bakery.”

Blue said she wanted to focus on expanding both the business and its offerings through a new location in a different state and new flavors of pie, respectively.

“We want to focus on our pies and providing more options, like the gluten-free and sugar-free [pies],” Blue said. “But in order to do that, we had to take something off our plate. That was breakfast and lunch. So now we can offer more varieties.”

Victory Pie Co. offers both sweet and savory pies, with options such as chicken pot pie, biscuit and gravy pot pies, apple, chocolate cream and quiche.

“I’d say [we have] probably over 20 flavors of pie,” Blue said.
