Woodhavyn, a 300-acre new home community in Montgomery County, began model home construction and is nearing the start of home sales, according to a Dec. 18 news release.

The details

Builders Shea Homes, Perry Homes and Toll Brothers held a groundbreaking ceremony for model home construction Dec. 5, according to the release. Model homes are expected to be ready by spring.

Phase one of Woodhavyn features 160 homesites with 40-, 50- and 60-foot properties. Future phases will include more than 500 homesites, according to the release.

Home sales are set to begin in 2025, according to Woodhavyn’s website, with prices starting in the $300,000s.


The community is in Magnolia ISD, according to the release.

According to the release, Woodhavyn’s amenity village is set to open in 2026, and will include:
  • A resort-style pool
  • An event lawn
  • A splash pad
  • A playground
  • Trails
