Colliers, a real estate company, announced the sale of 2.73 acres of land on Medical Complex Drive in Tomball, according to a July 17 news release.

Tomball 10 Joint Venture was represented by Colliers and sold the property to Forestwood Dental owner Dr. Khoa Nguyen. Paris Home Base LLC represented Nguyen, according to the release.

Nguyen plans to establish medical offices for his dental practice. Apart from growing his practice, he plans to offer lease spaces for retail ventures, City Planner Jared Smith said during a June 19 Tomball City Council meeting.

City Council approved the property's transition from agricultural to office zoning June 19. Smith said Nguyen has expressed his vision for potential integration of retail and restaurant elements, indicating future growth.

“It was a challenge to find a buyer with a conceptual use that would meet the city of Tomball's desired future land use matrix so that a re-zoning classification would be successful,” Colliers Principal Tom Condon Jr. said in the news release. “With the seller's patience and the hard work of all parties involved this was accomplished despite the current economic environment.”

Nguyen did not return requests for comment.
