Phase 1 of the construction of new buildings on North Eldridge Parkway just south of Northpointe Boulevard is completed and occupied, said Lester Jones, the principal of Three Man Partners, LLC, which owns and is developing the property.
The three buildings that make up Phase 1 of the project are collectively 14,527 square feet, and the first tenant, Jones’ civil engineering firm ALJ Lindsey, took occupancy in July. Interior design studio Blue Jay Interiors and counseling center Mindful Transformations are slated to occupy the building in early September, and P. Elyse Boutique, relocating from its space on Louetta Road, will relocate to the building around Oct. 1, Jones said.
“We have restricted ourselves against any use that would not be complementary with the elementary school across the street, Willow Creek,” Jones said. “So there’s going to be no pawn shops, no gun stores, no package liquor sales, no vape or smoke, or anything like that. It’s important for us to be a part of the community here, and we don’t think that’s the right use in this project.”
Construction for Phase 2 of the project, a stand-alone 2,700-square-foot building, is set to begin by October or November. The last building should be ready for interior build-out by early 2023, Jones said.
