Kim Huynh, public relations specialist for Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, said in an April 25 email that Freddy's is on track to open in Tomball in mid-June, barring unforeseen delays.
Huynh said the Tomball eatery will span 3,598 square feet and seat 92 guests with patio seating and drive-thru service. The restaurant will include a retro atmosphere reminiscent of the late 1940s and early 1950s—paying homage to the restaurant chain's late co-founder Freddy Simon, who served in World War II, Huynh said.
The fast-casual restaurant specializes in frozen custard and traditional American food such as steakburgers, chicken sandwiches and hot dogs, Community Impact Newspaper previously reported.
