Perry Homes, a Texas-based homebuilder, announced Nov. 8 it has begun selling homes in Escondido, a press release from the company said. The homes will start in the high $300,000s, the release said.

Escondido is a 150-acre master-planned community featuring 600 homes located on FM 1774 just west of Magnolia West High School, Community Impact Newspaper previously reported. Coventry Homes, another builder in the community, announced Oct. 20 it was starting its home sales in the upper $200,000s.

“We’re honored to continue our tradition of excellence here in Escondido,” said Lee DeLaGarza, Perry Homes Division president for northwest Houston, in the release. “We look forward to providing an exceptional homebuying experience by offering a wide variety of open-concept floor plans with modern design features for our Escondido homeowners.”

Homes built by Perry Homes will range from 1,900-3,200 square feet, the release said. The homebuilder plans to add 1,500- to 2,600-square-foot floor plans in mid-2022, according to the release.
