Tomball City Council members heard a presentation June 7 from Historymaker Homes regarding a proposed townhome community on Holderrieth Road in the city.

The proposed project is slated for a 19-acre tract—currently the home of a single-family residence—at 11922 Holderrieth Road, Tomball, representatives with Historymaker Homes said. The community would include a mix of three-, four- and five-unit townhomes with most homes including a three-bedroom, two-bathroom configuration.

Square footage is estimated to range from 1,700-1,800 square feet, representatives said, with the townhome exteriors being maintained by the homeowners association. The homes will be available for sale, not for rent, according to Historymaker Homes.

Historymaker Homes, a Dallas-based group, has a similar townhome community within the Balmoral Community in Humble, representatives said.

According to meeting information, Historymaker Homes has applied to rezone the 19-acre tract from the single-family estate district to a planned development district, which is expected to come before the planning and zoning commission June 14 and before City Council on June 21.
