GALLERY: See how work is progressing on HCTRA’s Tomball Tollway extension

Nearly nine months after breaking ground in February, the Tomball Tollway extension is taking shape in Tomball. In addition to the tolled roadway, the Harris County Toll Road Authority project is slated to add a stormwater detention area, sidewalks, feeder roads and accommodations for a future trail system to Spring Creek Park.

For more about the all-inclusive project, view a map of Phase 2 between FM 2920 and Spring Creek in Tomball.

  1. Someone needs to report how criminal these toll roads are! Every time a section of toll road is completed, the traffic lights on the feeder roads are reprogrammed in HEAVY favor of the intersecting streets. This tactic is used to frustrate and force drivers onto the new toll roads as another form of taxation! All new toll road construction design and traffic light programming should be presented to the general public to give drivers a chance to vote if they want it or not. Amazing how this biased and criminal “progress” is forced on the public!

    Rant-mode off 😉
