This weekend is packed with family fun in Tomball and Magnolia from April 20-22. From festivals to live performances, here are seven events to consider attending locally this weekend.

See live theater

Harris County Precinct 4 hosts a three-day family friendly presentation of "Romeo & Juliet." Performances take place rain or shine Friday (2:30 p.m.), Saturday (2 p.m., 7:30 p.m.), and Sunday (2 p.m.). Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis under the covered pavilion at Burroughs Park. A Shakespeare festival runs 1-7 p.m. Saturday, April 21, as well. The festival features strolling entertainers, face painting, food trucks, games and crafts. Shakespeare-era attire is encouraged. Free. Times vary. Recycle in Tomball

Tomball entities host Tomball Consolidated Recycling Day at Lone Star College-Tomball. Residents can drive through and drop off various approved items to recycle, including electronic waste, prescription drugs, tires, car batteries, used motor oil and household paper and plastics. For the full list of approved items visit the city of Tomball's website. Needles, plastic bags, paint, styrofoam and household trash are not accepted. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Free. Celebrate Magnolia's history

Enjoy an anniversary party

Magnolia United Methodist Church celebrates its 180th birthday with an anniversary party from noon-4 p.m. Saturday. The gala is open to the public and features family friendly activities and a lineup of Magnolia-area special guests. The church is also collecting boxes of macaroni and cheese to donate to Society of Samaritan's food pantry for the summer. Free. Attend a grand opening

Participate in 'Friends' trivia night

Watch a 'Celebration of Dance'
