Crawfish Shack reopens in Magnolia

As crawfish season begins, the Crawfish Shack Magnolia reopened Wednesday, Jan. 24, with drive-thru service available. The full restaurant is expected to reopen next week, Owner Cindi Ingram said. Weekend hours include:

Friday: 4-9 p.m.
Saturday: 12-9 p.m.
Sunday: 12-8 p.m.

Tomball Memorial High School students perform "Sister Act"

Run or walk to support Adult & Teen Challenge

Lone Star Cowgirls hosts an organizational meeting

The club will gather at Magnolia Horse Arena, located at 31245 Friendship Lane, Magnolia. The club will discuss the upcoming schedule for practice, parades and performances, dues, horse and rider requirements. Support Jacob’s Fight

Community organizations host two events this weekend to support Jacob Munoz, a member of the local community, and his family. Jacob was diagnosed with Philadelphia Chromosome Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a rare and aggressive form of cancer, in January 2015 and relapsed in December. Attend a blood drive at VFW Post 2427, located at 14408 Alice Road, Tomball, hosted by Allstate Insurance Agent Nataly Zimmerman. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participate in a family-friendly fundraiser at District 2.4.9 Bar & Grill, located at 23239 Hwy. 249, Tomball. Activities include a sand volleyball tournament, Texas Hold’em Poker tournament, face painting, bounce house and silent auction. Prices vary. All proceeds go to the Munoz family. 10 a.m.
