Citing recent rain, Magnolia lifted its Stage 3 water restrictions Sept. 9, according to the city’s website.
The city of Magnolia originally enacted a Stage 3 drought in early August when its wells reached 70% of daily pumping capacity, Community Impact Newspaper previously reported.
"The Water Conservation and Drought Contingency Plan Restrictions are determined by the amount of water that is pumped out of the city’s wells," City Administrator Don Doering said in an email. "Since the city is pumping less water, the restrictions are no longer in place. We are very thankful to the citizens for their cooperation."
With the restrictions lifted, residents are not limited to designated days for watering their lawns, washing their cars and filling their pools, among other things.
