More than 10,000 Montgomery County residents visited the polls May 14-18 to cast a ballot during the early voting period for the May 22 primary runoff election, according to the Montgomery County Elections Office.

Early voting sites were located in Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery, New Caney, Willis and The Woodlands.

Registered voters cast 8,398 Republican Party ballots and 1,699 Democratic Party ballots, totaling 10,097 votes cast during the early voting period.



Ballots for the primary runoff elections in Montgomery County include the race for the Republican nomination for Montgomery County Precinct 2 and Precinct 4 commissioners as well as the Democratic nomination for Texas governor.

Election day is Tuesday, May 22. Voters can find their polling location here, which is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
