Although several officials from 2016 elections were incumbents, Montgomery County voters elected a new sheriff and constable.
“Anytime you have newly elected officials or re-elected officials it is an exciting time, especially when people bring new ideas and new energy to county government," Montgomery County Judge Craig Doyal said. "It revitalizes people that are re-elected. When you go through that election process it is always good because it forces you to sharpen your game and stay focused on performing the job that you are elected to do.”
