Loco Potions owners Hope and Felix Salazar said they are in the process of renovating their outdoor patio’s field to offer further space for events, live music and potentially rotating food trucks. The renovation is estimated to be completed in the spring.

What they offer

Loco Potions offers a full bar with 14 draft beers, craft cocktails and mocktails made with fruit juices, syrups, herbs and sparkling water or soda. Customer favorites include the bar's margaritas and Old Fashioneds.

In addition to its drink offerings, Hope Salazar said the bar holds game nights on Tuesdays, karaoke on Fridays and live music on Saturdays.

In case you missed it

Husband and wife Hope and Felix Salazar took ownership of the former Aces bar in November of 2023 to open their own bar with a different name and concept. The bar opened in May after making construction alterations.

“I've been in the bar industry for over 30 years, that's one of my passions, and it was on my bucket list to own my own facility,” Felix Salazar said.

Since its initial renovation, the bar expanded in size and is about 2,800 square feet, with half the venue consisting of a lounge area with a bar on the other side. The venue features 10 TVs, an outdoor patio and a Hill Country presence, the couple said.

The name Loco Potions was created to reflect the bar's concept of creating a modern experience through craft cocktails made with organic ingredients, Felix Salazar said.
