Pilates Place Comedy Club, located along Forest West Street, is now open in Magnolia, founder and operator Jordan Tucker confirmed.

The club currently hosts about one show per month but hopes to expand that as it grows, Tucker said.

“I started this club because I love comedy but as a family man, it is really difficult to travel downtown or even to Austin to see a good show,” Tucker said. “So I thought, ‘Why not bring the show to me and those who are in the same boat?”

Pilates Place Comedy Club is partnered with Southern Star Brewery in Conroe, which provides free beer during shows alongside snacks, pizza and other drinks available for purchase, Tucker said.
