The Book Attic, previously located along Main Street, is relocating within Tomball, Bookseller Cyndi Sager confirmed via email.

“I have around 150,000 books and around 120 bookshelves, so it is no small task to relocate the store,” Sager said. “I had so much help from the community—my family, my church and my customers came out in force to help. It was an incredible and overwhelming sight watching 50-60 people all working so hard and doing so much to help me move.”

The new location, which will be located along FM 2920, will be bigger and have more parking, Sager said.

“I loved the Main Street location—the house was built in the 1930s, and I love the ‘old house-old books’ connection,” Sager said in an email. “However, some of my customers had trouble or were not able to maneuver around the store due to its size. The new location has a lot more parking also, which will help. And, since we are at a stoplight, it will be much easier for my customers who need to turn left across FM 2920 to do so.”

With its new location, The Book Attic will implement regular story times alongside other events, Sager said.

The Book Attic offers used books alongside some new books as well as items such as games, puzzles and paper products, Sager said. The business does have a trade credit program.
