Crazy Train Bar, located at 38925 FM 1774, Magnolia, is scheduled to open in mid-July, co-owner Mike Tindall said via email May 25.

Tindall owns the business alongside his wife, Linda, and Bill and Alisa Story.

“Both our families moved to Clear Creek in Magnolia 25-plus years ago and met shortly after," co-owner Bill Story said via email May 22. “We quickly became friends, which soon turned into basically extended family. We have enjoyed doing life together almost since the day we met. It is because of that friendship we understand the importance of being able to do fun things as a family. ... One night we were playing cards, [and] we came up with the food truck park and pub idea.”

The business will be a full bar, serving local drafts, cans, bottles and wines while also hosting local events. Crazy Train Bar will also have four to six food trucks on-site, Story said.

“We are currently working with food trucks for chicken sandwiches, BBQ, snowcones, seafood, french pastries/sandwiches and possibly pizza,” Story said.

As part of its events, Crazy Train Bar is set to host a youth night on Mondays.

“There will be no alcohol sales, a food truck or two open, some music and games,” Story said. “[It will] just be a space to give the youth in our community a place of their own to hang out at for a few hours.”

Story also said they’re working on a nonalcoholic menu.

“We look forward to meeting lots of families in the community and being a fun destination for all ages,” Story said.
