Knox Tractor, located at 19230 FM 2920, Tomball, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, co-owner and office manager Melissa Staszesky said via email.

Staszesky’s father, Eddie, started the business 50 years ago when he was 19 years old, she said.

“Eddie began this business on land in North Houston that was originally my grandfather’s, who had previously owned and ran a service station there,” Staszesky said. “Knox Tractor has been around for three generations.”

Staszesky said she joined the family business in 2008.

“We have run it together for the past 15 years,” Staszesky said. “That has been a very special experience.”

Alongside offering new tractors and equipment, Knox Tractor also sells parts and used tractors.

“We have a full-service department [and] also take trade-ins as well,” Staszesky said.

Staszesky also said Knox Tractor has remained family-owned for the entirety of its 50 years.

“Time will tell what the next 50 years will bring for Knox Tractor,” Staszesky said. “Our goal is to continue to be a humble, community-oriented business where people know that they will be greeted with a smile and given a fair deal.”
