Laura’s Saddlery, located at 30020 Hwy. 249, Tomball, is now open after holding a soft opening Dec. 16-18, owner Laura Hughes said.

The retail store offers products and accessories for horses and riders who do all types of equestrian disciplines, such as dressage, endurance and reining.

“We have a little bit of everything for everybody,” Hughes said.

Hughes, who is 17 years old, said horses have been a lifelong passion for her.

“It started with my mom, when she got her first horse when I was 2,” Hughes said. “It kind of snowballed from there.”

The products offered at Laura’s Saddlery includes things such as saddles, bridles and grooming products as well as clothing and blankets.

“We feel there is a lack of saddle stores and places like this in the area,” Hughes said. “I just love the product, and I’ve always loved the people around it. We had the opportunity come up, and we decided to take it.”
