Local apparel brand Magnolia Made launches online store

Magnolia Made, an apparel brand owned and operated by local Ryan Perkins, officially launched an online store. The clothing brand is inspired by the people and places of Magnolia.

Magnolia Made officially launched its online apparel brand on Aug. 14. Perkins said that his motivation for starting Magnolia Made was to highlight the people and stories of Magnolia.

“Magnolia has history you can feel, but it also has new stories being written every day,” said Perkins. “We wanted to make something that feels at home with the families who have been here for generations and the families who are just beginning their story here. The goal is simple: make apparel people actually want to wear because it feels like home.”

The brand offers a wide variety of clothing options for men, women and children. Perkins said that all items are made to order the moment a customer purchases them online.

According to an Aug. 14 news release, as part of the initial launch, the first 100 customers will be a part of the Founding 100. After all 100 spots are claimed, members will receive an exclusive package created specifically for the group and mailed separately at a later date. Multiple spots for the Founding 100 remain open to be claimed.

One of the long-term goals Perkins hopes to achieve through Magnolia Made is to “tell more local stories over time, highlighting the people, businesses, places and traditions that give Magnolia its character.”
