From flights to festivals, it is a busy weekend in Tomball and Magnolia.
Oct. 1-2: Commemorative Air Force Warbirds
Texas Raiders, a B-17 aircraft, and four other historic aircraft will fly over Tomball this weekend from Hooks Airport. The public can also tour each aircraft and talk with World War II veterans. Space is limited to reserve a 25-minute flight aboard the aircraft. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. $10 (adult admission), $5 (child admission), $20 (family of five admission), free (active duty admission). $225 and up (flights, reservation only). Oct. 1: 5K fundraiser
TOMAGWA and the city of Tomball host the Paces4Pink run and walk through Old Tomball. Formerly called “Sherine’s Stride,” funds raised from the event go to TOMAGWA to provide free breast cancer screenings. 8 a.m. (5K), 9 a.m. (1-mile family walk). $30 (5K), $25 (children age 11 and older), $20 (children age 10 and younger). The Greater Magnolia Chamber of Commerce hosts its second annual Fall Harvest Festival to showcase local businesses.
