Sept. 23-24: Livestock Show
Magnolia ISD presents its 32nd Annual Livestock Show and Auction, featuring hog, lamb, goat, rabbit, poultry, steer and heifer shows. FFA and 4H members at MISD can purchase, raise and show an animal for the show.
“We invite all of the community and everyone to come out Friday and Saturday,” MISD Director of Communications Denise Meyers said. “All of the proceeds go directly back to the students, so that will help support their college fund. We couldn’t do this event without the support of the teachers, the parents and the community.”

Sept. 24: Beetles, Brew and Barbecue
The city of Tomball hosts its sixth annual Texas-style Oktoberfest, formerly called “Bugs, Brew and Barbecue.” Saturday’s festival features a Volkswagen Beetle car show, barbecue, craft beer, live music and a kids zone.
