The Woodlands Express, a commuter bus service offered by The Woodlands Township, has updated its schedule to Downtown Houston in response to needs during peak commute times.

The details

The new schedule went into effect Oct. 2. Here are the changes effective in October:
  • A 7 a.m. morning run from the Sterling Ridge Park and Ride was added as well as an additional run departing Downtown Houston at 3:45 p.m. to arrive back at Sterling Ridge Park and Ride.
  • In addition, a run from downtown to Research Park and Ride previously departing at 3:55 p.m. was rescheduled to 3:40 p.m.
  • A run from Greenway Plaza to the Sawdust Park and Ride departing at 5:45 p.m. was canceled.

Information about the The Woodlands Express Park and Ride service and the Town Center Trolleys is available at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/transportation. According to The Woodlands Township website, round-trip tickets using the service cost $13, and a book of 20 round-trip tickets is available for $260.
