Grogans Mill Road and Research Forest Drive turn lane construction

Turn lane improvements at Research Forest Drive and Grogans Mill Road were slated to begin in December but delayed due to inclement weather. The project will extend the westbound acceleration lane from southbound Grogans Mill to westbound Research Forest, said engineer John Bleyl of Bleyl Engineering. Improvements will also be performed at westbound Research Forest to northbound Grogans Mill, and utility conflicts at that site were resolved in late December, Bleyl said. Design work for the project is complete, he said.
