Work on installing two new traffic signals in The Woodlands was expected to be completed by December, according to Montgomery County Precinct 3.

New Trails Drive and Technology Forest Boulevard

This project will add a traffic signal at New Trails Drive and Technology Forest Boulevard. Technology Forest will be widened to accommodate a right turn-only lane and a straight or left-turn lane in each direction at the intersection with New Trail Drive. The project also includes adding a crosswalk to the south side of the intersection. The traffic signal was slated to be operational before the end of November, and all pavement work and striping had been completed.
Cochran’s Crossing Drive at Bay Branch Drive intersection


A project to install a traffic signal for a right-turn lane from southbound Cochran’s Crossing onto Bay Branch as well as a left-turn lane from northbound Cochran’s Crossing onto Bay Branch was completed in November.
