The turn lanes will be constructed at north and southbound Grogan’s Mill and at eastbound South Millbend. The project will include redesigned signal locations and will necessitate rerouting some traffic during construction.
As of mid-November, Montgomery County Precinct 3 reported work on several of the turn lanes had been completed; the foundations for the signal poles were poured; and fiber was being placed for new traffic signals.
Upcoming work includes left-turn lanes on southbound Grogan's Mill and eastbound South Millbend, followed by right-turn lanes at those locations. New signal poles and pedestrian poles were slated to be installed. The length of the project is 90 calendar days, according to Precinct 3.
