The Lake Woodlands Drive widening and signalization project was substantially complete more than a month ahead of schedule in mid-August, according to Montgomery County Precinct 3.

The project included widening Lake Woodlands Drive from I-45 to Six Pines Drive, adding a through lane in each direction and improving turn lane movements at the intersections, according to Precinct 3.

It also included installing new traffic signals at Lake Woodlands Drive intersections with Pinecroft Drive and The Woodlands Mall entrances. The project is funded through the 2015 Montgomery County road bond.
