Twelve roadways in The Woodlands area ranked in the Texas A&M Transportation Institute’s list of Texas’ most congested roadways. An Oct. 22 press release said the institute’s full assessment included 1,829 road segments across the state.

The 12 roads in The Woodlands area include portions of I-45, Rayford Road, FM 1488, Research Forest Drive, Grogans Mill Road, Woodlands Parkway, Kuykendahl Road, College Park Drive, Hwy. 242, Gosling Road and Sawdust Road.

Two Houston roadways—Loop 610 and I-59/I-69—claim first and second place in this year’s rankings, according to the press release.
