As of Nov. 2 reports, fewer office, industrial and retail buildings were under construction in The Woodlands area than were under construction in the fourth quarter of 2022. Retail occupancy decreased from 96.3% to 95.4%, and 406,700 square feet of retail space was under construction as of early November. A resident of the Houston area since 2011, Vanessa began working in community journalism in her home state of New Jersey after receiving an English degree from Drew University.
