The Montgomery County Hospital District and Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management have announced an emergency exercise is scheduled June 10 in The Woodlands.
According to a news release from MCHD, multiple county fire departments and law enforcement will participate in the exercise.
"Residents should not be alarmed by numerous emergency vehicles and personnel in The Woodlands near Woodlands Parkway and Six Pines Drive," the news release said. "In an effort to maintain the integrity of the simulation and to maximize the opportunity for first responders to react in real time, details of the drill are being withheld."
The emergency drill is anticipated to last around four hours. Questions regarding the drill can be directed to Sean Simmonds, MCHD emergency preparedness and safety coordinator at [email protected].
