According to a Sept. 17 news release, Interfaith is aiming to collect 50,000 pounds of food donations from Oct. 15 through Dec. 31 to support the needs of the community.
On Oct. 15, residents can donate nonperishable goods at 4242 Interfaith Way, The Woodlands, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Residents will also be able to watch a variety of performances from local groups such as the Interfaith Child Development Center children's choir.
Interfaith is also seeking volunteers to help with the Day of Giving campaign for a number of initiatives including its:
- Interfaith Hand Me Up Shop
- Daily congregate meals and activities for seniors
- Veggie Village Community Garden
- Food Pantry
