The Rotary Club of The Woodlands will be taking over the annual "Into the Woods" Halloween fundraising effort from The Woodlands Charity group, according to a March 18 news release.

“Our volunteer committees over the years have built upon the success of Into the Woods year after year, and we could not be prouder. The success has led The Woodlands Charities to realize it is time to relinquish the reins and let a larger organization take over the event and allow it to flourish," co-founder Nina Marino said.

Founded in 2016, the event raised money for a variety of Montgomery County-based charities, including the Rotary Club of The Woodlands, Yes To Youth and Texas Children's Hospital The Woodlands.
