Tamina nonprofit Children's Books on Wheels is putting on a Dress White Linen Party on Oct. 3 at 9845 Sleepy Hollow Road, Conroe, beginning at 8 p.m.

CBOW Executive Director Rita Wiltz said the dance party with live entertainment will help provide funds to aid the gap for children and their families struggling through the continuing coronavirus pandemic. Admission to the party is $35.

"CBOW relies on private donations to provide the no cost services of books, educational literature, along with community resources for the diverse area of service," Wiltz said.

The live event will feature artists Leslie Lugo, Thomas "Songbird" Dickerson and "RL."

The event will allow guests to bring their own alcohol. Social distancing will be observed, and masks are required to attend.
