The project consists of an intersection improvement planned south of FM 1488 on the I-45 northbound feeder road. The project is in the design phase. The 0.02-mile improvement is being finalized for construction. Timeline: TBA Cost: $809,240 Funding sources: Texas Department of Transportation

Rayford-Sawdust Road feeder2.  Rayford-Sawdust Road feeder 

The configuration project will adjust the southbound feeder road north of Rayford Road to retain three lanes through the entrance ramp. The project is under time suspension, which includes efforts such as acquiring the right of way and relocating utilities. The project length is 0.10 miles, and bids were received in May. 3.  Lake Woodlands Drive overpass

Construction begins this fall on a 2-mile grade separation on Lake Woodlands Drive that will begin at Lake Front Circle and end just west of Six Pines Drive. The project is being designed and funded by the Woodlands Road Utility District No. 1. The overpass is designed to alleviate congestion on Lake Woodlands Drive and will be two lanes in both the eastbound and westbound directions. 4.  Rayford-Sawdust Road

A 2-mile construction project will add reverse exit and entrance ramps on northbound I-45 from Rayford Road to Woodlands Parkway. It is being finalized for construction. The deadline date for bids is April 2016. Timeline: TBD Cost: $200,000 Funding sources: TxDOT

5.  Woodlands Parkway expansion

The project is a westbound and eastbound expansion on Woodlands Parkway from Grogan’s Mill Road to I-45. The eastbound and westbound lanes will widen from three to four lanes with dedicated right-turn lanes. Funding depends on the passage of the road bond referendum in November. After the design is finished and the project is sent out for bid, Matt Beasley, project manager for Montgomery County Precinct 3, said the project will be complete in one year. Honea Egypt Road widening6.  Honea Egypt Road widening

The 2.3-mile project will expand Honea Egypt Road from two to four lanes. A center-turn lane will stretch from the intersection at FM 2978 and FM 1488 to the intersection of Ranch Lake and Sendera Ranch drives. The project is 40 percent complete. Kuykendahl Road 7.  Kuykendahl Road 

Segment DI  Kuykendahl Road Segment DI is the widening of the road from two to four lanes between Indian Hill Road and Timarron Drive. The project is in the final design phase. Harris County will send the project out for bid upon completion of project development. WRUD is charged with the design while Harris County is responsible for the construction. Timeline: TBD Cost: $1 million Funding sources: Harris County, WRUD

8.  Kuykendahl Road bridge over Spring Creek    

The Kuykendahl Road bridge project is a joint partnership. WRUD is funding the bridge design, and Harris and Montgomery counties are funding their respective share of the construction costs. Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Jack Cagle said the bridge project will move forward contingent on the road and bridge bond referendum on the ballot in November. 9.  Lake Woodlands Drive expansion

The expansion starts at Lake Front Circle and ends at I-45. Two lanes in each east and westbound direction will be expanded to three lanes. This project depends on the passage of the road bond referendum to be held in November. It will take approximately one year to complete once the engineering design is finished and the project is let, said Matt Beasley, project manager for Precinct 3.
