The Woodlands Development Company has announced plans for the long-rumored condominium high-rise to be located at Waterway Square in Town Center.
The condo, named Treviso at Waterway Square, will be 23 stories and feature 84 units with prices starting at $650,000. Each floor will have four units offering one- to three-bedroom condos, said Peter Doyle, executive vice president of design and construction for the Howard Hughes Corporation, which owns The Woodlands.
“We’re really creating something that is in the middle of all the activity,” Doyle said. “[Treviso] has a European contemporary style.”
The condo will be located next to The Westin, The Woodlands hotel on Waterway Square, which is expected to open by the end of the year.
Doyle said construction on Treviso would begin when about half of the condo’s units are presold.
“If [sales go] as they are expected to go, we could start construction in November with delivery in the first quarter of 2017,” he said.
Treviso will offer its residents a swimming pool, fitness center, high-end amenities and retail and restaurants on the first floor.
“There is nothing else like it in The Woodlands,” said Paul Layne, vice president of master-planned communities for the Howard Hughes Corporation. “It will really afford fantastic views.”
