Daiso Japan will be opening a location in Metropark Square, 8888 Metropark Drive, Shenandoah, in 2022, according to Metropark Square officials.

According to information from Daniel Moon, vice president of the Sam Moon Group, which develops the property, Daiso will be executing its lease by Jan. 7.

Daiso was founded in Japan and has over 5,000 stores worldwide, according to the company. Daiso's website defines the company as the "Japanese dollar store.” Daiso Japan sells various products, including decor; stationery; cosmetics; and traditional Japanese items such as origami paper, calligraphy tools, obento products and sensu fans. www.daisojapan.com
