GenuWine Tasting Room, a wine bar located at 6503 FM-1488, Ste. 401, Magnolia, announced it will be closing at the end of the month due to the uncertainty of the economy and pandemic.

According to a Facebook post from owners Cassie and Ron Lochte, the wine bar will officially close Oct. 31 when their lease expires.

"This has been absolutely one of the hardest decisions we have had to make, as GenuWine has served the community as a very special gathering place for friends with unique boutique wines and great food but also as a venue for hosting community and private events," Cassie Lochte said. "Thank you Magnolia/The Woodlands for 10 great years."

The wine bar will remain open and operating until Oct. 24. Beginning Oct. 25 and running through Oct. 30, the wine bar will have a total liquidation sale on everything inside the building and on its patio. 832-934-2675. www.mygenuwine.com
