St. Luke's-The Woodlands Hospital marked the opening of its new cancer treatment center in an Aug. 28 ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at St. Luke's The Woodlands Hospital, a collaboration with Baylor College of Medicine, first launched at 17198 St. Luke's Way, Ste. 100, The Woodlands this spring, according to Vanessa Astros, the hospital's external communications director.

The cancer center offers various services related to cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment, including clinical trials and genetic analysis through Baylor's clinical genetics program. The center's treatment areas include breast, colorectal, endocrine, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, gynecologic, prostate, lung, and head and neck cancers.
