CycleBar, an indoor cycling studio that offers participants a high-energy workout, is set to open its doors in Creekside Village Green in early October.

The studio will first open with private rides to select local businesses, nonprofits, charities and groups from Oct. 3-12. CycleBar will then offer 2,500 free rides from Oct. 13-23 as part of its grand opening, where anyone can register on CycleBar's website.

Curt Buttiker, proprietor of CycleBar in The Woodlands, said the studio’s premium equipment gives riders a more efficient workout than other indoor cycling studios while also providing a fun atmosphere.

“We provide the clip-in cycling shoes that make the rider more efficient in their pedal stroke,” Buttiker said. “Plus, unlike some other bikes, a CycleBarride includes upper body work, requiring more muscles to be used and increasing the calorie burn.”

Buttiker said classes will include high-energy music and a communal group atmosphere. All riders are welcome at the studio, regardless of size, shape, age and fitness level. All rides include free towels, water bottles, and clip-in cycle-specific shoes.
