Quotes of note

“Our goal with Water Renewal The Woodlands is to involve our customers and provide transparency in our efforts to maintain our water and wastewater systems for the next 50 years and beyond,” WWA General Manager Erich Peterson said. “As The Woodlands celebrates its 50th anniversary, we are at a point where infrastructure that has served us well for decades will require attention. We need the community to weigh in on how we move forward.”

“Timing is everything,” said Bob Lux, president of the WWA board of trustees. “We know that delaying critical infrastructure projects puts communities at risk of increased service disruptions and higher long-term costs. By investing now, we provide a foundation for The Woodlands to remain a premier community known for its quality of life and reliable services.”

What's next?

The survey will be open for residents through Oct. 6, after which the WWA and SJRA will work to create the priority list and bring it back to residents for further input, according to the news release.
