The Greater Houston area boasts a number of breweries to visit. They range from the long-standing Saint Arnold Brewing Company near downtown Houston to the newly expanded Southern Star Brewing Co. in Conroe. Wine lovers can visit any of the six wineries about an hour west of The Woodlands area near Brenham and Montgomery as part of what is known as the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail.
