The Woodlands Mall is a two-story indoor shopping center with more than 160 retail outlets, including anchor stores Dillard’s, J.C. Penney Co., Macy’s Inc., Nordstrom and a two-level Forever 21.

The mall, located at the intersection of I-45 and Lake Woodlands Drive, features a food court, a carousel and a children’s play area. The Woodlands Mall opened in 1994 with more than 120 stores and underwent an expansion in 2004, with the addition of a 150,000-square-foot outdoor section that features retailers Barnes and Noble and Anthropologie as well as restaurants such as The Cheesecake Factory and Brio’s Tuscan Grille.

Town Center trolleys and Waterway water taxis provide transportation for mall guests. The water cruisers connect the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, Waterway Square and The Woodlands Mall. Cruisers stop every 45-60 minutes, and tickets are purchased upon boarding.
