Children's Books on Wheels

A ribbon-cutting for the launch of Children's Books on Wheels at the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber will be held at the event, "The Gift of Reading." The event includes a special performance by The Treetops, and attendees are encouraged to bring books to donate. The event is held in the Tamina community.Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt


The Woodlands Township is holding a candy cane hunt for children age 5 and older. The Terramont Park grounds will be filled with treats to hunt in the dark. There will be prizes awarded to the candy hunters who find the “golden” candy canes. Parents must accompany their children at no charge. Preregistration is required.Art in The Woods

Ardest Gallery, a local fine arts gallery, is holding an art market known as Art in The Woods. The market started Oct. 21 and will be held every third Saturday each month through April. The art market offers local artists an ongoing platform to showcase their works to local residents. The Riva Row Boat House is hosting a gift-hunting event along the lower Woodlands Waterway. After the hunt, attendees can enjoy holiday treats at the boat house. This event is recommended for age 10 and younger. Preregistration is required.
